Most of the announcements in the fields of the learning sciences and instructional/educational technology happen via private email or closed lists. That's very inefficient and ineffective and unnecessarily closed off from the public. Thus I created a low traffic, unofficial learning sciences & educational technology google group to forward announcements related to this field, for example sharing conference calls for papers, grant rfps, interesting journal articles, etc. The first post has more info about the group and about the learning sciences and educational technology.
